Caterpillar Internship Opportunity


POSITION: Internship
DEPARTMENT: Asia Pacific Marketing
LOCATION: BEIJING/SHANGHAI

Caterpillar now is seeking for interns who will have internship in its Asia Pacific Marketing Division. Asia Pacific Marketing is an important part of Team Caterpillar. Our teams at Market Support, CPS, HR Marketing, Product Support, Industry Marketing, Australasia Region, China Region, China Distribution and Asia Region cohesively make up the strength that we are. We work hand-in-hand with our dealers throughout the region. With business units in Asia Pacific, we put Teamwork into continual action and demonstrate that our performance and capabilities bring positive changes to our businesses with our values-in-action.
Interns with well-tracked internship performance after evaluation will be potential candidates for Caterpillar China Job openings.


INTERNSHIP DURATION :
Minimum 6 months and extendable to one year.

SCOPE OF INTERNSHIP ASSIGNMENT :
• Support 6 Sigma Black belts on marketing related projects.
• Organize and prepare Business Meetings and Seminars.
• Assist Marketing survey and data analysis.
• Support Advertising and promotional projects.
• Assist the update of APNet website.


ELIGIBILITY :
•The second or third year student in Master degree study.
• Major in Engineering related (Mechanic or Electronic Engineering, Automation, mining etc.) and/or Marketing,
  Business Management related, Finance are highly preferred.
• In line with the University postgraduate internship curriculum and support from the Faculty Dean/Professor.
• Excellent communication skills and preferably proficient in English and Mandarin.
• Good team player and good in interpersonal skill.
• Strong passion in marketing and engineering related jobs.
• Can work at least 2-3 days full time a week in 6 – 12 months duration.
